New Year New Goal
New year, new me!
It is not something that just happens overnight, but takes moving in a better direction a step at a time. And let’s not even talk about resolutions that are laughably unrealistic, all of which lose their sense and sensibility by the end of January. So, let’s celebrate the last changes, and pat ourselves on back for all small victories that we can achieve.
Before making more goals, let’s check in first. There are some aspects of our lives that we can try to do better. Use Specificity Instead of generalities Never, I mean NEVER use generalities Instead of “get healthier,” let’s focus on actions “work out for 30 minutes three times a week” Lets break down big goals to small, achievable goals around the target.
I will keep in mind that failure is part of the process. Accept the challenge, mess it up, change, grow again. I am meant to be in this position, the wind upon my back, Nimbus clouds following behind me, surround myself with I CAN DO IT people not LET'S GIVE UP people, and celebrate every win, no matter how small. So here’s the secret a new and happy me, not just a new me. It’s time to focus now on process, not just outcome.
